While most get personally involved in consumer reviews, a professional review site will compare products that are like in totality, but there is always differences between one brand and another.

The first question I would ask is “Is it similar to what I am used to smoking?” and am I getting the best batteries and atomizers for my smoking habits? Are you a heavy smoker? Still think consumer reviews are better? Go to a forum and read related reviews and see how they put out a “Review” right after they get the product with no time using it. They love it at first, but they have not had time to see if the product last, time to find bugs etc…. But most never return to update that review and it could have been a terrible experience and they had to switch to another product, but you as a reader are still buying the initial reviewers pre mature post that will likely give you the same results.
There is also another factor called social conformity, it is the cattle or sheep syndrome that plagues the human race. It is basically monkey see…monkey do! Forums and consumer reviews are often plagued with these types of followers, and not an honest review.
