A carnival ride through my mind!?!

The thrills!!! The excitement! Step right in folks, your in for one wild ride!!!

So to clear up the video, the rider in the cart is going through this carnival ride called “Nadine’s Crazy Adventure”, starring Nadine( the school girl you see), all the slides and scenes you see are the images that tell a story as your cart “moves” through the ride. And in the story, the character, Nadine, falls asleep and has a dream, (which is the crazy part:))However, I could not edit the cart to move, and make the rider appear as she is watching these image go by, it could be confusing to some. Hope that clears things up!

I used Adobe Premiere Pro 2, it took me 3 days to film, and around 5 days(not full, duh) to edit….ie, A REALLY FREAKING LONG TIME!!!

A big thank you to my AWESOME roommates for lending me their costumes and putting up with my crazy filmingness! lol

The singing is suppose to be cheesy, :p think “splash mountain”

The concept came from when I was on vacation in Disneyland and going on the little kid rides!!! I tried to do a style similar to them, layout and story progression. I wanted to have more angled background with the “rider” in all scenes to give it that more “3d” look, HOWEVER! my computer sh*t bricks on me and could not handle it. I have a laptop, its been good so far, lol.

I also have to invest in a larger green screen, lol, o a side note, that room is my room, and I didn’t set deck it at all, its actually THAT messy, and it was alot worst when I was filming!

Benton County Fair 2008 – Carnival Ride Siren

A quick spur-of-the-moment video, didn’t even bother with fancifying this with titles.

This is one of the carnival rides they have every year at the Benton County (Iowa) fair. I decided to record video of it running because it has an old fire engine/police car siren on it the operator likes to randomly sound. The siren is heard at 0:58 and again at 2:34.

As far as what kind/model of siren it is, I do not know. My knowledge of small fire/police sirens is rather nonexistent (My interest primarily lies with their larger civil defense/tornado brothers).

KM Concessions On Ride Point Of View Of The Ferris Wheel Carnival Ride.

Video recorded and edited by Mark Hunter – My wife and I attended the Greenwood Dairy Days where we rode the Eli Ferris Wheel. I filmed this video while riding the ride, and it gives a nice aerial view of the KM Concessions midway at this small town festival.
