Our adventures aboard the Carnival Inspiration over the holidays. We set sail on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2009, and returned on December 28, 2009. This was our first time cruising over Christmas, and we loved it. This video is our fun aboard ship. It includes a tour of the galley.

It was recorded to another soundtrack but someone somewhere felt I was infringing upon a copyright violation and they blocked it. — freakin ridiculous if you ask me, but anyway… This song is not really a great choice for this video but I was tired of searching through Youtube’s available songs to substitute – and I was not about to redo the video – takes entirely too long. Returning to New Orleans from Cozumel, Mexico on the Carnival Fantasy ( March 29th, 2009 ) and noticed the crew had caution taped the whole back of the ship. Hours later, in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico (depth 11,000 ft.) one of our HH-60 helicopters appeared. They did a fantastic job staying with the ship at about 20 knots. I caught the end on video, where the USCG rescuer was lifted back to the helicopter and they got on their way.
