What is the deal with cheap carnival rides.?
My gfs uncle owns a carnival we got to ride everything for free. nearly everything was spinny and made me sick. It was hot as fuck. anyone experienced these shitty rides? I would be angry if i payed to feel dizzy.
carnival rides have to be compact enough to be set up and taken down quickly and ride on the backs of trucks from town to town.
Most of them run in pretty tight circles.
Did you get a good look at the people charged with putting those things together? I have my doubts about putting my life in their hands.

If Im a month and a half pregnant, can getting on carnival rides be dangerous for the baby?
I went to a carnival today n got in some fast rides. If i am one and a half months pregnant, can it affect the baby?
It depends. If you tire yourself that much then you can have a miscarriage. Just be extra careful and do not ride rides on carnivals.
Who here is scared of carnival rides because they think they’re not safe?
I used to never go on any carnival rides or roller coasters because I was scared that they would break down. Also, I was freaked out like something could come undone because they move around. I would just go on rides at places like Six Flags or Disneyland because they made me feel safe! I laugh at myself now, and now I love carnival rides! Do you or someone you know have or ever had this fear?
Personally having worked both parks and carnivals, Carnivals are by far safer.
The main reason of this is, odds are the guy/gal that operates the ride, most likely also set that ride up, giving them much more knowledge of the ride.
Also, the majority of pins and keepers are actually touched each time it is set up or tore down, instead of some guy that just does a quick walk over the ride, also most parks, depending on size, only have a handful of employee "qualified" to inspect a ride.

Is it okay for pregnant women to get on carnival rides?
I’m 16 weeks pregnant and was wondering if it is okay to get on carnival rides that aren’t too fast or anything..Like a ferris wheel.
I am sure a Ferris wheel is fine but avoid all of the ones that spin (most carnival rides) because that isn’t good for you or the baby.

When did you start letting your child ride on the carnival rides?
You know, like the little cars/boats that go around in circles and they can ‘pretend’ to drive? They have seatbelts, so you buckle them in and let them go.
It’s almost carnival season around this area (in fact, one is setting up right now in the parking lot across from where I work)… I’m wondering if Johnny is too little to ride on those rides. He’s 18 months.

i done never yet let my kids ride. they 4, 3 and 1. but you know. the 4 year old pup he do love the big elephant ride at arcadeland. normal they dont aloww pups but they know him already and let him ride the elephant with the other babys. i dont let my kids tho cause incase the wire snap. i know the 4 year old pup can handle if the wire snap cause he seen what to do on wubzie the one when the wire snapped and wiget fell and wubzie tryed to catch him. so the pup knows but the babys act like they dont know what to do if the wire snap and the kids that work at arcadeland dont seem like they know what to do.

How do you feel about carnival rides?
I love carnival rides!!!!! I just know a lot of people that are terrified because of all of the accidents that have happened lately and I am just curious about how you feel about carnival rides.
Dangerous and risky. You take your chances when you get on a carnival ride and just hope all goes well. They are portable and usually old. They are put up and torn down repeatedly so they can’t have enough integrity to be safe!
