I have a question about the kids program on Carnival cruise lines?

Posted on June 16th, 2010 by admin in carnival lines | 1 Comment »

we are going on a Carnival cruise in 2 weeks and we are bringing our 2 year old. The cruise line says they have a program where they will entertain her and watch her if we want them to. While filling out the paperwork it mentioned something about watching her while we were off the boat?

Will they watch her while we are doing a shore excursion? When I called them they didn’t have a direct answer of yes or no?

I had been on Carnival, they do have schedule for 2 years old, depending on the time. I suggest you do not count on them, because there r certain time, they will not take care of your kid. Like after 10:00pm they will charge you. It is not all that good!
good luck!

How do you delete saved games on Carnival Cruise Lines Tycoon?

Posted on June 8th, 2010 by admin in carnival lines | 1 Comment »

I’ve got an entire list of games that I have saved, and it’s about 15. And it’s getting very annoying to have to scroll through and pick out the game I have saved, is there any way to delete you’re saved games? It would be very helpful if someone could explain how to delete you’re saved games.

Go to My Computer

Right click on the C: drive

select "properties"

Click on "tools" then "Defragment now"

This will delete all of the save game files for you. It may take a while though.

Question about my documents for Carnival Cruise Lines?

Posted on June 2nd, 2010 by admin in carnival lines | 1 Comment »

I am going on a cruise next Saturday on the Carnival Glory and I was told by the phone rep that all I need is my funpass and passport at the terminal to board, but she said you can also print your tickets there also. I can’t find where to print the tickets.

There isn’t anything else to print. Your funpass is your ticket.

What cruise lines are owned (or rather run) by Carnival?

Posted on May 30th, 2010 by admin in carnival lines | 6 Comments »

I’ve been told that lines like Princess and Holland America are actually owned and run by Carnival. if this is true could a Carnival past guest get a discount on other lines (that are run by Carnival)

Some other answerers are giving you incorrect information. While past guest privileges do not work interchangably between Carnival brands, having sailed on one line can qualify you for past guest discount rates on another line. I have seen reference to this fact more than once on both Carnival and Holland America ships. My impression is that you would book your cruise fare at the lower "past guest" rate, but might not receive the onboard privileges that come with having truly sailed that line before.

If you follow the link posted below, you will see that a Carnival rep confirms that past guest discounts can transfer between lines.

Also, this from Travelocity:

"Be sure to ask a Cruise Expert about reciprocal past-guest privileges offered by Carnival Cruise Lines’ sister brands, including Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, and Windstar Cruises."

Good luck!
