Are there many hot teenage guys on Carnival Caribbean cruises?

Posted on March 2nd, 2010 by admin in carnival cruises | 3 Comments »

I’m a 17-year-old girl, and I’m going on a carnival cruise to Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and the Caribbean next March for a week. What are the chances of meeting a guy, around the same age, who is reasonably attractive? I’m just curious.
I’m going with my family during the spring break.

every cruise is different. depends what time of year you go. If you go around school breaks theres alot more teens on the ships.

its about 50/50 boys to girls. if your going around spring break which is in march/april there will definitly be teens your age forsure.

youll meet ppl! definitly.

Who has ever sailed with Carnival Cruises?

Posted on February 28th, 2010 by admin in carnival cruises | 10 Comments »

I am going on a carnival Cruise this august on the Valor ship. If you have ever sailed with Carnival, let me know what you think.

James,

Carnival is the biggest in the biz right now, and they do an excellent job. There are some more elegant lines (which Carnival also owns) but you will receive excellent value on this cruise.

There are many activities all day and into the evening for you to pick and choose from. Every night with your bed turn-down service, your cabin steward will leave copies of the Carnival Capers in your cabin. It is a newsletter that lists all of the next day’s activities, and I never am able to do even 50% of what is offered.

You don’t give your age, but there are activities for all ages every day. Every evening there is a Las Vegas style show in the main showroom, as well as other smaller shows, kareoke, trivia contests, dance contests, etc. Ping pong, miniature golf, the gym, or ship tours….

One of the best activities is trying to meet new friends, so be friendly. Take a journal to write down names, email addresses, and memories. Try to take a lot of photos… shoot everything… the meals, the people, everything!

Also, go to some other websites to look around and ask questions. You can go to the "roll call" sections, post a notice, or find someone who is also on the Valor and make plans to meet them on board! You can also plan what to do in your ports of call, etc. I list the websites below.

Also, there is nothing wrong with taking time to just think, read, contemplate your life and get to know your family better while on a cruise. It can be a wonderful experience to get to know a relative better.

You are going to have a great time!

Are the youth restrictions on the Carnival cruises strict?

Posted on February 26th, 2010 by admin in carnival cruises | 4 Comments »

I’m going on a carnival cruise in November and I’m 14 but in high school. I don’t want to be in Circle C. I was wondering if it was hard to sneak in the Club 02 group. I am quite mature for my age and don’t want to hang out with 11-14. So I was wondering is it difficult to sneak in or would I be able to. Thanx!

I am sure you are mature for your age, but the cruise lines have programs set up for your specific age group. There is nothing wrong with Circle C. The club has fun activities. Below is a brief summary.

Circle "C" (ages 12-14)
Circle "C" is the ultimate Teen Program for kids ages 12 to 14 years old. Cool activities, awesome facilities and lots of rad new friends to add to their e-mail lists. Now young teens have a place of their own to connect with friends or simply chill. Circle "C" is the place to be for parties, games and other supervised activities created just for them (think dance parties, movies and more).
Teens must be registered with Circle "C" in order to participate in the activities, but it’s up to them how many — or few — they choose to attend. Teens can come and go as they want, with activities running until the early morning hours. For teens that love to dance, Carnival has great news. Every night aboard a Carnival cruise our 12- to 14- year-old guests will have the opportunity to "mix and mingle" at the shipboard dance club to the latest hits. Some ships feature a Circle "C" Lounge, where movies, music videos, a touch-screen jukebox and gaming pods are available.

Activities for Circle "C" may include:

The latest game consoles
Talent Show
Dance Parties
Late Night Teen Hang and Late Night Movies
Video Arcade Tournament
Scavenger Hunts
Karaoke
Freaky Food Fear Factor
Camp carnival Survivor Challenge
Make Your Own Pizza
Game Boys
ExerSeas Activities – Including games like Dodgeball, Basket Ball and Mini Golf
Sea Notes – Including games & activities like Name that Tune, Teen Idol and Musical Jeopardy
Water Color Activities – Including activities like Mono-Printing, The Great Art Robbery and Decoupage Boxes
Spin Art, Sand Art and Candy Art
T-Shirt Decorating
Carnival Twister Waterslide Races

Do Carnival cruises have ribs on their menu?

Posted on February 24th, 2010 by admin in carnival cruises | 5 Comments »

I am going on a carnival imagination cruise in August and I was wondering what type of food they have on the menu. I am really craving ribs right now but seeing that this is my first ever cruise I thought I would save them for on the ship just to make it even more special. What other types of foods do they have?
What if you get hungry in between meals? Do they have an open buffet or something?

We went on the Carnival Conquest last week. It was so much fun. I don’t remember them serving ribs but we didn’t go to the main dining room at all on the ship. We ate in the buffet lines in the casual dining room. They serve some type of food 24/7 and you can order room service for free, you just need to tip whoever brings it to your room a dollar or two.

They have so much food variety so you will definitely find something you like to eat for every meal and you will not go hungry.

How are carnival cruises to the Bahamas during Spring Break?

Posted on February 19th, 2010 by admin in carnival cruises | 1 Comment »

For the last two years my friends and I have taken a carnival cruise to Mexico during spring break and both have been amazing times. We are looking to switch it up this year and the Bahamas cruise during spring break looks attractive, but we want to make sure its going to still be an overwhelmingly large percentage of young single people. What is the crowd/atmosphere like on one?

I’d bet a bunch of drunken partiers although there may be a few families onboard

carnival ships are the party ships. especially the 3-5 day itineraries. 7 day cruises tend to be more laid back

MVI_1766 YMCA -Day 3 of Carnival Fantasy cruise.AVI

Posted on February 19th, 2010 by admin in carnival cruises | No Comments »

Customers who had taken a carnival cruise prior to this one were invited to a function where refreshments were provided and some activities took place on the stage in the ship theater. It seems that the YMCA song/dance is one of the hallmarks of carnival cruises. This dance on the theater stage was composed of all ages and the Carnival mascot.

You get to see this video on YouTube because I did not have the patience to upload any more videos to Flickr where the photos from this cruise are located. All future videos filmed by me will be here because too many of the Flickr videos did not make it through after waiting a long time and not being processed. The same is true for Webshots. Perhaps they were too large — whatever.
