I have been on 6 previous carnival cruises, and have never had a balcony and really really want one! Please Help! Thanks!
It is 3 of us, 2 adults, and 1 teenager. Newlyweds idea wont work!!
Thats not going to happen. Why not pick a cruise that has low balcony prices. Thats what we do often. Of course you need to be flexible but you can find a reasonable balcony rate. Use the cruise travel site I listed below. Set it on balcony cabins, pick your date and see what looks good.
You can always ask and if they say no, try another cruise line. Occasionally Princess offers balcony rates at ocean view prices, but it is not on all itineraries. I understand, I love balconies too, once you have a balcony stateroom its hard to go back to an ocean view or inside room. Feel free to check out the website below maybe there is something of interest for you. Happy Cruising! References : http://www.cruiseshipcenters.com/LisaAndrews
I think everyone who goes on a cruise wants a balcony upgrade for free. I am going on my 6th cruise in March.. My only time on a balcony was when we paid for it.
Watch for deals before you book. Try booking an early saver high cost oceanview room, then if the cruise does not fill up, MAYBE, you could get upgraded to the next level which would be a balcony.

Tell them your engaged or newly weds (which is why your taking the trip) and would love to have a balcony-it worked for my boyfriend and I.
I personally can’t believe you have been on that many through them, Carnival was literally the WORST cruise line I have ever been on.

How about you pay for what you want.

I’m sure they’ll be pleased to provide the upgrade if the cabin is available and if you pay for it.
