How far is the dock for carnival cruise ships from atlantis?

I am going on a cruise in december and i wanted to know how far the dock for the carnival cruise ships is from the atlantis resort. Is it possible to walk to the resort from the dock?

I just got back from the Carnival Fascination’s cruise to Nassau. You would not want to walk to Atlantis. You may be able to physically do it (but it would be at least a few miles, some of which in a not great area). I believe they said if we missed the last bus from Atlantis to the docs, it would be $4 per person cab ride.

Atlantis was amazing. Pricey, but amazing. We did the shallow dolphin interaction.

    It would depend upon where you are going. There is more than one Atlantis resort.

    Once you start walking towards the bus, and encounter all of the locals approaching you one after another, tugging at your hair to give you braids and all kinds of other things, you’ll be glad to take the bus. Atlantis is very pricey, and a lot of people on our cruise were really dissapointed. I’d search for a Margaritaville or C&C’s or something else fun to do.

    Technically you can walk, but it’s a long way, and a bus or taxi will get you there quickly and inexpensively, and you will then have more time at Atlantis.

    As far as I remember when I went on Norwegian in Jan 2006 – all the ships were docked near each other. I saw Carnival ones and Norwegian had a ferry/boat set up for us to get over to Atlantis. It was brutal hot that day – I would not walk it!

    You should not walk, but there is a ferry you can take from the dock directly to Paradise Island. Very reasonable!
