How do you feel about carnival rides?

I love carnival rides!!!!! I just know a lot of people that are terrified because of all of the accidents that have happened lately and I am just curious about how you feel about carnival rides.

Dangerous and risky. You take your chances when you get on a carnival ride and just hope all goes well. They are portable and usually old. They are put up and torn down repeatedly so they can’t have enough integrity to be safe!

Carnival rides scare me: They’re put together and taken apart almost daily, there is now way they don’t loose a screw or something.

Carnival rides are okay, but, if you think about it, exactly how safe are they? They are putting them up and taking them down every so many days. The ones at the amusement parks are up permanently (unless they need to move them for a new or different ride) and checked daily for problems. Personally, I would rather go on the amusement park rides any day. You pay one price for the whole day while at a carnival you pay for each individual ride which adds up very quickly (unless you get one of those arm bands that are only good for a few hours).
