Hurricane at Carnival Cruise Line

Back in 2005 I took a cruise to Canada on the Carnival Cruise Line. Coming back home to New York we passed the tail end of a hurricane. Everyone inside the cruise were throwing up and feeling sick because the ship was rocking back and forth severely. I though you only get one chance to see how it feels to be outside during a hurricane….so here it goes.

haha im in the USMC …
haha im in the USMC and i had to spend a week on a destroyer and we had a couple 45-55ft swells, but the thing about a detroyer is there so stable they never rock side to side

Nice vid! Just to correct you it must have been the Victory or the Triumph. The Paradise does not leave from NYC. The only time it did was when it came out back in 1998. The Victory and Triumph are pretty big ships over 100,000 tons!

i took a mexican …
i took a mexican rivera on the carnival pride and it kept tossing back and forth and I WAS ON THE FIRST DECK i would just lay down on my bed and closed my eyes to hold down the headache, it never happened to me on disney
i was about to go eat dinner and it was hard to walk to the restaurant and i puked in the bathroom before we left
oddly at the restaurant (cause the food takes like an hour to be served) i went on the lobby elevators and just went up and down and that was my remedy

This past June we went on the Carvinal Trumph from New York to Canada thank god we didn’t have any bad weather it was very foggie each day tho I really di’t like the cruise to Canada it was to cold.

i know some people …
i know some people that were on the carnival glory in 2008 during tropical storm fay, the glory responded to a rescue of a sinking sail boat because it was the closest ship and they arrived at the same time the us coast gaurd did so everyone got to watch the rescue
