Carnival Cruise, How do I get a balcony if they are sold out on Carnival?
My hubby and I are wanting to take a Carnival Cruise for 5 days from Galveston, TX during Feb. 2008. I am trying to book the cruise, but I know it is kind of late doing so, and the balcony rooms are all taken. I know that travel agents or discount cruise companies purchase rooms in bulk, right? How can I find a company or someone that has a balcony view I can purchase for this 5 day cruise?
Call up various travel agents and see if they have any. They can even be agents in different cities. I know how that works, too. When going to Florida in July of last year, my husband just went with the flow. Instead of settling, he wanted to get this Westgate Palace resort that was a huge deal (and still is). We went to 5 different "Official Welcome Stations" until we finally found the room we wanted. They do buy in bulk. Just keep calling and also do a search online for one. Good luck to you.
