I was told I could use the phones they had on the carnival cruise ships but I would be charged for it and I just wanted an idea of how much the charge would be

If you are calling cabin to cabin on the ship, there is no charge.

If you are calling ship to shore… it will be very expensive. But in the case of an emergency, it is available to you.

From the carnival website: The ship’s telecommunications network offers direct dialing via satellite from the staterooms telephone. This is available 24 hours a day regardless of the ship’s location. This service is closed on the final day of the cruise at 4:00AM. The rate is $6.99 per minute for calls to the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico and $9.99 per minute for all International calls. All charges are billed to the guest’s on board Sail and Sign Card. Since all communication is via satellite, guests cannot use calling cards, credit cards, dial 800 toll-free numbers nor make a collect calls. Instructions and rates can be found in the cabin’s directory.

I’m interested in starting to collect Northwood Grape & Cable carnival glass in amethyst. I’ve seen some pieces with an embossed "N" on the bottom and some not. I’m not sure if that is a telling point on the age of the piece or not. But any help would be appreciated.

Some of my friends are dressing up as the newspaper people by making clothes out of newspapers
You could wear kind of emo or punk things or dress up like rockers

If you don’t like those kind of things you could dress up as a sexy princess or maybe a witch

My gfs uncle owns a carnival we got to ride everything for free. nearly everything was spinny and made me sick. It was hot as fuck. anyone experienced these shitty rides? I would be angry if i payed to feel dizzy.

carnival rides have to be compact enough to be set up and taken down quickly and ride on the backs of trucks from town to town.
Most of them run in pretty tight circles.
Did you get a good look at the people charged with putting those things together? I have my doubts about putting my life in their hands.

My hubby and I are wanting to take a carnival Cruise for 5 days from Galveston, TX during Feb. 2008. I am trying to book the cruise, but I know it is kind of late doing so, and the balcony rooms are all taken. I know that travel agents or discount cruise companies purchase rooms in bulk, right? How can I find a company or someone that has a balcony view I can purchase for this 5 day cruise?

Call up various travel agents and see if they have any. They can even be agents in different cities. I know how that works, too. When going to Florida in July of last year, my husband just went with the flow. Instead of settling, he wanted to get this Westgate Palace resort that was a huge deal (and still is). We went to 5 different "Official Welcome Stations" until we finally found the room we wanted. They do buy in bulk. Just keep calling and also do a search online for one. Good luck to you.

how much does it cost to buy a beer at a bar on a carnival Cruise Ship?

I think it cost somewhere between 5-7 dollars, on average. I’m not sure only because I never bought alcohol, but I did briefly look at what they charged and I’m fairly certain it’s in that range.

I’m a 17-year-old girl, and I’m going on a carnival cruise to Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and the Caribbean next March for a week. What are the chances of meeting a guy, around the same age, who is reasonably attractive? I’m just curious.
I’m going with my family during the spring break.

every cruise is different. depends what time of year you go. If you go around school breaks theres alot more teens on the ships.

its about 50/50 boys to girls. if your going around spring break which is in march/april there will definitly be teens your age forsure.
